Letter from the President
CIS President Carl June, MD

Steven M. Holland, MD
2010-2011 CIS President

I am honored to be writing to you as your new CIS President and thank Carl June for his outstanding and visionary leadership over the past year through significant change and growth.

In July 2009, the CIS Executive Committee, committee chairs and Past Presidents met in Chicago where we focused on factors impacting the society and how to serve the changing needs of our members. As a result of these robust discussions, CIS now has its own national meeting, a Website Editor, and appointed Councilors from Latin America and Japan.
