CIS/Talecris Third or Fourth Year Fellowship Awards

   

Congratulations to the 2009 recipients of the CIS/Talecris Third or Fourth Year Fellowship Award. Through a generous grant from Talecris Biotherapeutics Center for Science & Education, CIS was able to provide six $30,000 grants to the following individuals:

National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases

Karin Chen
University of California, Los Angeles

Janet Sue Chou
Children's Hospital of Boston

Joerg Ermann
Brigham & Women's Hospital

Their work will be presented at the 2009 Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases Consortium Conference June 11, 2009 during the FOCIS Annual Meeting and we are excited to have the awardees attend and present their work.

CIS would like to thank the other individuals who applied for the grant as well as the Grant Review Committee who had the difficult task of selecting only six from the outstanding applications that were submitted.
