On behalf of the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS), we invite you to participate in the 2014 Annual Meeting: Primary Immune Deficiency Diseases North American Conference taking place April 10 – 13, 2014 at the Hilton Baltimore.
CIS is the key inter-disciplinary organization for the field of clinical immunology and is devoted to fostering developments in the science and practice of clinical immunology. The mission of CIS is to facilitate education, translational research and novel approaches to therapy in clinical immunology and to promote excellence in the care of patients with immunologic/inflammatory disorders.
This year’s meeting is expected to attract more than 400 physicians and researchers working in the primary pathologic processes in various primary immunodeficiences. Through lectures, panel discussions and networking during the meeting, clinicians and researchers will come away with an improved knowledge of primary immunodeficiences. In addition to the formal presentations there will also be poster sessions and schedule breaks to allow for networking.
We are also thrilled to announce we will be co-hosting with the Association of Medical Laboratory Immunologists (AMLI) a School on Diagnostic Assessment of Immune Phenotyping and Function in PIDs on Thursday, April 10th at the Hilton Baltimore. The program will cover the latest advances in diagnostic testing for primary immunodeficiencies, the interface between the laboratory and the clinician in diagnosis and management, and future trends in clinical diagnostic immunology.
Abstracts are being accepted for the 2014 CIS Annual Meeting: Primary Immune Deficiency Diseases North American Conference and the School on Diagnostic Assessment of Immune Phenotyping and Function in PIDs. The Annual Meeting and School will provide a venue for the presentation of the newest immune deficiency diseases and the pathogenesis of these defects in molecular terms. The substance of the conference will be cutting edge clinical and basic science research.
Join us for this momentous occasion that promises to be one of the best conferences on primary immunodeficiency. We look forward to seeing you in Baltimore!
