Application process has closed!
The Clinical Immunology Society (CIS) is pleased to announce its sixth Summer School in Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases to be held November 1-5, 2007, at the Alexander Hotel in Miami, Florida.
The summer school is geared toward fellows in training, with a primary goal of education in the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases. The secondary goals of the summer school are to attract and develop future scientists in academic medicine and to enhance the awareness of clinical immunology and its importance in scientific discoveries and clinical applications. This program encourages student interaction with faculty and thought leaders in immunology in a casual and intimate setting.
CIS accepted 32 applicants for the 2007 Summer School program. Applicants were selected based upon credentials, level of training, letter of recommendation and the interest in the case report or research project.
All participants will give oral presentations and be provided with travel grants to assist with airfare, hotel, and meal expenses. The language of the School will be in English and selected participants are required to become CIS members upon completion of the school.
